New Zealand’s latest milestone in waste reduction: Kia Manawa Ora. Green Gorilla’s new Waikato facility is the country’s most advanced resource recovery plant. Fully electric and purpose-built, this cutting-edge operation diverts construction waste, defining the modern standard for a circular economy in Aotearoa.

Construction & Demolition

From a single construction waste skip bin to complex multiple waste collection services for large construction projects. We have the machinery, experience and recycling centres to get your waste diverted from landfills.
Construction and Demolition produce nearly 570,000 tonnes of waste a year, roughly half the entire landfill volume and equivalent to 23,155 shipping containers of rubbish.

Each month approx. 10,000 tonnes of Construction & Demolition waste comes to our Auckland facility for processing.

The uptake of green building techniques in the construction industry has helped better manage the number of waste materials. However, it still creates large amounts of waste that can be recycled and diverted from New Zealand landfills. Our specialist waste processing facility is a vital link in processing to reduce landfills and create recycled by-products.
