Here’s how THRO’N’PAY works:

Your Thro’N’Pay wheelie bin comes with an electronic chip that stores your address details. No tags needed. When your bin is ready to be emptied, put it kerbside by 7am on collection day. We’ll empty your bin and then debit your account. 

Payment is via direct debit - no hassle buying tags.

Servicing Glen Eden, Glendene, Green Bay, Henderson, Kelston, New Lynn, Ranui and Te Atatu South* Plus Papakura (including Harbourside, Pahurehure & Rosehill).

*NB we cover the majority streets within these suburbs.

Your order

You can only proceed with the online Direct Debit if you hold sole authority on the account. If there is more than one signatory on the account, the form will need to be signed by all signatories. Click here if you would like to download the Direct Debit Authority.

Please note that we are unable to process direct debit payments on Public Holidays. Regular payments that would normally fall on a public holiday will be processed the following business day.

Our service team will confirm your first collection day when your order is processed.

Payment Frequency

Direct debits will be made for each weekly collection made with a minimum of one collection per month.

Bank Details

Statement reference. The reference shown on your bank account when we debit your account will be Kalista Ltd.



Sole authroity is defined as any one person who is a nominated account signatory that can operate the account alone, as per the account mandate instructions. This can apply to joint accounts please check with your bank if necessary. A confirmation letter will be sent to you within 5 business days. Should you wish to query, amend or cancel these instructions please contact us. If you do not have sole authority over the nominated bank account, please complete a Direct Debit Authority and return it to us.
