COUNCIL CONTRACT COORDINATOR

Are you looking for a new opportunity? We are currently seeking a Council Contract Coordinator to join our team. Using your skills and great attitude you will have the opportunity to learn, grow and develop within our great team. In this role you will bring operational understanding, showcasing your exceptional administration and customer service skills.   You will be responsible for assisting with coordinating the Council contract for the collection of refuse, recycling and food waste in the Central/West Auckland area. This 12-year contract covers approximately 80,000 households.

We are looking for someone who will ensure a customer-centric approach, enhancing the customer experience and achievement of contractual KPI’s, while coordinating with drivers daily. You will assist in maintaining and maximising route efficiencies and also assist with daily run checking & dispatching. Daily tasks will also include liaising with Auckland Council, resolving customer complaints, providing customer feedback on issues and dealing directly with Council’s representative with regards to contractual requirements. We prefer candidates who have some background in transport or logistics, but we are willing to train the right person. This position is key in supporting the business.

 

Our ideal candidate would have the following:

  • Qualification in Business, Logistics or related field is preferred
  • Self-motivated and works to strict deadlines

  • Strong administration skills with attention to detail
  • Proven problem-solving skills

  • Route optimisation experience preferable

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

We are seeking an energetic, adaptable and experienced Financial/Systems Accountant to join our Finance team. The role will require an individual who has previous experience in a similar role and has exceptional attention to detail.  You will be expected to conduct data integrity processes and controls and update information as required as well as undertake projects and improvements to systems. The role will also process weekly and monthly billing, prepare reconciliations and provide weekly and monthly analysis and reporting.  You will be someone who is well organised and who loves to work smarter while providing high-quality business partnering to the business.

To successfully deliver these tasks you with be structured, organised, have strong analytical skills, and an ability to remain customer-focused.

Qualifications and experience key to the role:

  • B Com or another relevant degree, backed by a minimum of 3 years commercial experience, preferably in the recycling, waste or transport industry.
  • Excellent work ethic with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and Innovative problem-solving skills and ability to adapt.
  • Ability to identify, analyse and solve problems and an aptitude for numbers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop, coordinate and implement systems, plans and procedures.

We are seeking an energetic, adaptable and experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance team. The role will require an individual who has previous experience in a similar role, has exceptional attention to detail and can provide support to a small team. You will be approachable, a strong communicator, comfortable working in an operational environment with a varied workforce and have the drive and ability to make a difference. You will be someone who is well organised and who loves to work smarter.

This is a hands-on role supporting a wide range of finance functions across the business, including monthly reporting, budget development and control, forecasting analysis, financial modelling, and process improvements to name a few.

To successfully deliver these tasks you with being structured, organised, have strong analytical skills, and an ability to remain customer-focused.

Qualifications and experience key to the role:

  • B Com or another relevant degree with a CA qualification, backed by a minimum of 5 years commercial experience, preferably in the recycling, waste or transport industry.
  • Ability to lead and motivate with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent work ethic with strong interpersonal skills and highly developed negotiation skills.

SERVICE CENTRE REPRESENTATIVE / DISPATCHER

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Service Centre Representative/Dispatcher to join our team with an immediate start. Using your skills and experience you will be responsible for providing industry-leading customer service while meeting the quality and schedule expectations of the company’s customers. In this role, you will field calls and emails from customers who have questions, comments, or complaints about our products and services. You will also assist customers in placing orders. All of our Service Centre Representatives are trained to understand the full menu of our offerings so that they can provide our customers with excellent service. The role is not only crucial to delivering the service on time but also maintaining and improving the productivity of the fleet. You will be liaising between the drivers and our customers to find solutions that delight all parties. It is a green light all day with multiple communication channels and challenges occurring at once, which are time-sensitive. We prefer candidates who have some background in customer service/dispatch, but we are willing to train the right person. This position is key in supporting the business.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Field phone calls and emails
  • Provide information to customers about order status and product queries
  • Process customer orders/changes/returns according to established policies and procedures
  • Follow up customer queries
  • Prioritise and efficiently allocate work to drivers
  • Accurate and fast data entry

We are seeking a well-rounded, energetic, adaptable and experienced Business Development person to join our Sales team. This role is packed with opportunity for growth. You will be reporting to our Commercial Sales Manager while working in our wider sales space which includes Trade and Industrial. In this role, you will be actively seeking new opportunities to drive business in the Franklin district; developing and growing relationships with Commercial customer/prospects. Ideally, you will be local or familiar with the Franklin district with strong ties to the local community that you live in. The ideal candidate will already have established local networks and relationships in the area.

You will be identifying new business opportunities while also managing client accounts and providing subject matter expertise and solutions for our customers. Identifying needs and opportunities in the market is also important.

DRIVER – SIDE LOAD COLLECTION VEHICLE – CLASS 4

The largest non-landfill owning, full-spectrum waste services provider in Auckland, Green Gorilla is rapidly transforming the way our city’s waste is handled.

We are currently seeking fit and experienced Class 4 Drivers to join our growing team. Using your skills and experience you will be joining the team for the newly awarded Council contract for the collection of refuse, recycling and food waste in the Central West Auckland area. This 12-year contract will cover approximately 80,000 households. The role will include operating a side load vehicle five days a week and may include an extra weekend day when there is a public holiday. Flexibility in start and finish time may be required. We offer our driver team a prestart continental breakfast to help kick start their day.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • The collection of refuse, recycling and food waste as required, while complying with council contracts
  • Operating in a safe working environment
  • Operating vehicles in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Accurately completing all required documentation
  • Keeping your truck and unit clean

 

Our ideal candidate would have the following:

  • Class 4 drivers licence with at least 2 years relevant driving experience
  • Proven relevant experience in a similar environment/role
  • Relevant transport industry knowledge and experience
